Weekly Auction & Sales Results, Market Overview

Demand from buyers at auctions reported this weekend remains healthy with 310 of the homes offered selling this weekend resulting in a clearance rate of 74 per cent. This is consistent with demand recorded at auctions held since early February this year and is an improvement on last year, however it is in part due to there being less auctions.

In total there were 418 auctions reported this weekend, with 108 being passed in, 57 of them passed in on a vendors bid.

Over the next few weeks there are a similar number of auctions scheduled rising to a peak of just under 550 the week before Easter.
